______________
I Had a Dream but that Was Not Mine
I had a dream
Where everywhere
There is just happiness of spring
No storm of terror and no thunder of terrorists
Beautiful seasons of love
Living a life in serenity
With beautiful faces and wonderful souls
But when i came out of dream
I saw thousands of wounded people
Craving for life yielding for peace
Just few hours before i was with my dad and mom
We were celebrating my birthday in the light of candle moon
Suddenly four men came with the big gun in their hand
They started firing on and on and on
My mom covered me in her arms and dad covered the two of us
In the safe shelter of his embrace
Everyone was enjoying, few jiffies before, are now just crying and snivelling
For their life, for their loved ones life
Whose family somewhere were waiting for their arrival
The two men, their face was covered, may be they were hiding their evil and heinous crime
They were not aliens; they were among us but not like us
Thirteen times they shot my dad and eight times my mom, but for whom and why?
What had we done?
They fell down on the floor, held my hand into theirs, they said nothing just
Went away in a deep sleep from where no one comes back
Everywhere blood was there, dying people, dead mankind
A little child was crying loud, from his little hands he was shaking his dead mother to wake up and to take him in her embrace
With tears in my eyes & scary flashback of creepy scenes in mind I took that child
With me on a new journey where both of us were without daddy and mommy
Wandering bare foot in the city i do not know now whether it was mine but that dream was not mine.

Abhilasha Bhatt's bio:
I do not have much to tell about myself but those things which made me capable enough to lead the life with complete positivity with a proactive nature, poetry is one of them. I was born in the lap of hills but destiny brought to a completely different place, the heart and capital of India i.e. Delhi, a metro city where no one has time for each other or to stay for second and ask for the well beings. A journey of struggle I have which I love to have and always thanks to god for that as those tough times made be strong headed and a much patient one. I was born on September 8, 1993 in a Garhwali Brahmin Bhatt family. Love to write poetry, short stories, and articles. I have done Bachelors in Technology (B.E/B.Tech) and currently working as an E-mail designer and Content Writer; alongside I am also working as a freelancer for some online websites. Recently released song made a Lyricist also. That’s some about me.
