Theme of this project is TERRORISM and the book ~as a tribute to all victims of terrorism~ will be a compilation of 'POETRY OF WITNESS'.
Therefore, such a subject has to be explicit and not implicit in the submitted poems [= the poems need to state such a point clearly, leaving no room for confusion or doubt].

This is the continuation of our first editorial project started after the murdering of so many innocents in Paris [Nov. 13th, 2015], as a tribute to them and to the countless other victims of TERRORISM, worldwide.
For this reason, we must avoid any prejudice regarding issues such as race, religion, political ideology, and the like.

Consequently, any expression of hatred (even towards the perpetrators of such heinous crimes) in the poems must be avoided
–and we have to stay away from any 'political discourse /debate'.

No one is safe from terror: any day we get news of murders committed by insane people, most often (although not always) in the name of a 'god' they don't really believe in.. because it is not God that is in their mind. What they have inside, is only the deepest void. And they simply want to fill their void with hatred.

Terrorism is also a manifestation of violent extremism, as they are deeply tied. Anyway, they represent an insane pursuit of political aims/power.

No one is safe, anywhere, by such a violent, bloody madness.. but we –all the people of good will– must stand up and refuse terror!

The Anthology will be our second book of 'Poetry Against Terror' after our 1st published in 2016. See:

Terrorism, which is one of the most important topics in the world today, refers to any act designed to cause 'terror' by means of violence or the threat of violence.

As a fundamental rule, terrorism is politically and emotionally charged, because it is meant to instill fear within, and thereby intimidate people, an entire country or even the whole world. Terrorism is certainly frightening, but the best way we can fight it is by living our lives without terror.

"Countering this scourge is in the interest of all nations" [UN http://www.un.org/en/terrorism/]

ALL THE UNFIT POEMS WILL BE DISCARDED AFTER DEADLINE, without further notice.
