Spartan 2 reading 16.6AFR just after startup, then jumps to 19.7 and stays there

Hi,

I ran this sensor / controller succesfully for a few days and now it is doing this. I am very sure my tune is not lean, it's way too rich if anything. Is my sensor toast? What can I check?

It actually gives a 13.1 reading when started, then 16.6, then 19.7 and that's where it stays. It does that when the car starts, but it also does it when the car is switched on, but not cranked / started. It just does 13.1 for a few seconds, 16.6 for a few seconds and then 19.7 for as long as you keep it switched on.

I understand the 13.1 and 16.6 are the wideband controller starting up, 1,666 Volt for 5 sec and 3,333 Volt for another 5 sec. But then it goes to 19.7 and stays there. I changed from  setting '14point7' for the EGO to 'custom linear' and then gave the numbers in the table in the link. The result is the same. So my controller, regardless of whether the car runs or not, is giving almost 5V. The LED indicating the temperature status seems to be working, it blinks slowly when cold and then goes stable. I never saw it flashing quickly, yet.
