Hi
I have a Spartan2 and MS3. Can I use the Green linear output to control both the gauge and the ECU?

Thanks
Derek

It will usually work, green line to both the gauge and the ECU.

After you wire it up, you should do the linear output calibration in Tuner studio, https://www.14point7.com/blogs/news/16539352-maximizing-accuracy-between-spartan-2-and-megasquirt

If you notice that the AFR shown in tuner studio during Spartan 2 powerup is well below the 13.33 and 16.66 AFR then it probably means it will not work, most likely the gauge is putting too much load on the green linear output.

Hi Thanks for the reply.

That was a great way to test. So with the gauge connected it brought The 0V from 13.3 to 13.10 and the 5V from 16.7 to 16.4. Would you consider that well below?  Also any idea if I could recalibrate with the lower values?

Thanks
Derek

you should recalibrate in tuner studio.

I've also asked this question but did not receive any answer. In my case I don't have the gauge yet, so I was asking if it can be done and for what devices.

It sounds like some displays can work this way but not others? Is there any way of knowing besides trial and error? It would be nice to know what to look for before buying a gauge.

Any further info about this is greatly appreciated.
