Dear Year 5 CCE Reps,

 

Here is one more event for your classmates to consider to serve, thanks for forwarding this email to them!

 

 

Teck Ghee Division will be organising the annual Teck Ghee Lantern Night 2013 on 14 September 2013, Saturday, 6.45pm to 9.30pm at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Promenade. Grassroots Adviser, Mr Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister and MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC, will be gracing the event as the Guest-of-Honour.

 

This event will showcase various interest group such as Japanese culture, Lego, moon cake sampling, balloon sculpting, gardening, story-telling to the participants apart from the stage performance, lantern procession and lucky draw.  Approximately 3,500 residents and their families are expected to participate in the event.

 

Our school is invited to participate in the Balloon Sculpting segment of the Teck Ghee Lantern Night 2013. If you are interested, in recognition for the help that you have rendered, each participant will receive an Appreciation Letter stating the number of CIP hours. The group of students will also be invited to take a picture with PM Lee and at the same time, your family members are also invited to participate in the Lantern Night.

 

Interested students will be required to attend both of the following sessions:

 

Balloon Sculpting	Lantern making	31 August, (Sat), 2pm to 4pm	Teck Ghee CC
		14 September, (Sat), Whole day

 

Kindly note that your Promo exams will commence on 25 September, so do plan your time wisely should you be keen to serve at this event. Otherwise, if you need a break from studies, this event may allow you to indulge in the festive mood with the community.
