Dear CCE Reps,

 

Hope this email finds you well! As there are two ongoing programmes that require new blood, I would require your help in forwarding this email to your classmates.

 

1.       STep-Up Programme @ Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centre and Pertapis Children’s Home.

 

As previously publicized earlier on in the year, as some of the volunteers have left the programme, we do require a few new volunteers to replace them. If you are interested to help out, please email me directly. This will be done on a first come, first served basis.

 

Here are a few details:

 

@ Ang Mo Kio FSC (Blk 230 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3):

Every Tuesday 7.30pm – 9pm

 

@ Pertapis Children’s Home

Every Friday 5.30pm – 7pm

 

 

2.       Project Boost! Wiz Club Programme

 

Weekly programme to help Primary 1-6 students with their school work on a weekly basis on Wednesday evenings, in term 3.

Here are some details:

Venue: Ang Mo Kio FSC (Blk 230 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3)

Time: 7.30pm – 9pm

Frequency: Every Wednesday, for Term 3 (July – September)

Also, here is a reminder that the deadline for the Singapore Children’s Society Flag Day is next week:

 

3.       Children's Society Flag Day 2013

 

The Singapore Children's Society will be organizing their flag day on 3 August, Saturday to raise funds to meet their operational costs from reaching out to needy children, youth and their families via their social service programmes. Details are as follows:

 

Date: 3 August 2013 (Saturday)

 

Slots: Either 9am to 2.30pm or 12.30pm to 6pm  

 

Reporting venue: Jalan Besar Communty Centre- Multi-Purpose Hall

69 Jellicoe Road 208737 (5 minutes walk from Lavender MRT)
