Geese,

The painter has done a terrific job in the hallways & the colours look really good. A concern that I have is he has not removed the grills over the ventilation outlets in our hallway on the 4th floor.
As discussed at the yearly meeting in October 2011, it was stated that the ventilation system would be cleaned out every 2 yr. So, if the grills over the ventilation system are painted directly onto the walls, this means that when removing the grills, there will chipping away the paint in order to access & clean the outlets.
When I had my kitchen & bathroom painted, the grills were removed, painted separately & once dry, re-attached to the walls. Could the same thing be done with the hallways? It would mean a lot less paint chipping & damage in the years to come.

Also, when will the repairs be re-started on the front lawn?  Is this work that is been done by the city of Toronto or by 148 Soudan?

Sincerely,

Janet
Apt. 409
