Community Meeting Next Tuesday

Hi All,

Just wanted to see if anyone else is going to the meeting next Tuesday to voice concerns over the proposed condo going up on the west side of the building.  I know personally I am against it as we will lose all sunlight on that side of the building, plus the noise and inconvenience and probably some of the privacy we now enjoy.

I think it will also impact being able to park on the street and will be a complete eyesore.

I did read quickly through the development proposal and they have our building listed as a rental building which is not correct.  I am not sure what percentage is now owned so if anyone can let me know that would be great so that can be brought up.

I have also spoken to counselor Josh Matlows office and they are opposed to this building too as it completely changes the street as there are no highrises on Soudan from Holly St. onwards.

Hi,

I plan on attending.  Hope that many others will attend from the area, overall. 

I have attended a previous city meeting re. construction elsewhere in the Yonge/Eg area.

If you don't know already, be prepared for these developers to come with a whole "cast" of so-called experts, from traffic-control experts, sun vs shade experts, lawyers, etc., etc.
