May 2, 2007 110 Affordable Residential Cooperative Apartments Available in Manhattan -Ellington on the Park Now Accepting Applications- The New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is pleased to announce that applications are currently available for a newly constructed development in the Bradhurst section of Manhattan. This exciting, new and affordable residential cooperative is being financed by HDC as part of Mayor Bloomberg's affordable housing initiative, The New Housing Marketplace: Creating Housing for the Next Generation. Prospective buyers will be selected though a lottery system in which applicants residing in Manhattan Community Board 10 will receive preference of 50% of the units, uniformed police officers of the New York City Police Department will receive preference of 5% of the units, households that include person(s) with mobility impairments will receive preference of 5% of the units, households that include person(s) with visual or hearing impairments will receive preference of 2% of the units and Municipal Employees of the City of New York will receive preference of 5% of the units. Applications Available for Affordable Housing Units Located in Lower Manhattan - 33 Apartments Available at Affordable Rents - The New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is pleased to announce that applications are currently available for a newly constructed development in Manhattan. This new housing opportunity was financed by HDC as part of Mayor Bloomberg's affordable housing initiative, The New Housing Marketplace: Creating Housing for the Next Generation. The development is located at 89 Murray Street in the Tribeca section of Manhattan and is funded through HDC’s Low-Income Affordable Marketplace Program (LAMP). Initial rents range from $483 a month for one-bedroom apartments up to $859 for three-bedroom apartments. Units are reserved for households with an annual income ranging from $18,113 to $41,100. (Incomes vary within these bounds depending on apartment size and family size). Applications
