Dear friends,

It is high time we submit our choices for electives to BDI. Almost a month has passed since my last mail. Since i posted about this on Jan 16th, i have naturally made the FINAL DEADLINE FOR ELECTIVES CHOICES to be 16TH FEBRUARY, 2012. We cannot delay it any further. I am thus sending the updated file for all to check and see.

All editing from you must be given by the deadline... a summary file will be given to BDI end of 16th February!

Been meaning to share this for a while. Here goes...

Regarding electives:

During advising, a few of us talked to Kabir bhai about electives, what will be offered and when, etc. He suggested that we should all choose our electives and find a group of atleast 8 people who are also willing to do that elective. Make this list and email to BDI. They (BDI) will then try to make the courses (with the teachers) available and give us the course.

So, our task is:

1. Choose our electives(3 in total)
2. Share it with others(post,email,etc.)
3. Confirm the courses
4. Make the list of 8 or more
5. Share the list (so that everyone can see if they have been included)
6. Send this list to BDI

Hopefully, the above steps should help us get the electives that we so badly want (esp. for few of us who chose BRAC over other unis)! Kabir bhai said that the sooner we do this, the easier it is for BDI to try and give us the course since then they will get enough time and dedicate resource commitment to this.

If anyone, new or old student, has any queries, suggestions, anything, pls share for evry1. This way I believe we can all complete our masters the way we want. I must add that I am very thankful for the amazing effort of each and every 1 of us who are finding out info and sharing with every1!
