BCS-ISB Training programs will help you to become fully equipped with latest tools and techniques in bioinformatics so that you may become comfortable to enter in bioinformatics industry / research. We aim to provide you with best quality Bioinformatics education and Industrial exposure.

 

Objectives

 

BCS-InSilico Biology (BCS-ISB) is a subsidiary of BeCS Pvt. Ltd. an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified Company Specializing in applying the power of computational biology to build solutions to complex biological and data analysis problems faced by scientists, biotechnology companies and universities.

 

The basic objective of BCS-InSilico Biology is to assist and promote training, research and development in the emerging fields of Bioinformatics. The aim and vision of the institute is to provide a platform for individuals, professionals, R&D Organizations, Pharmaceutical & Software companies to utilize and harness the Indian bioinformatics potential. Senior scientists of government labs, government officials, industrialists and educational intuitions are providing continuous support to us. Our Lab is fully equipped with various professional and academic bioinformatics software’s and high speed internet facility.

 

Now BCS-InSilico Biology, Lucknow invites applications for:

 

1. Final Semester Project

2. Dissertation Work

3. Industrial Training (opportunity to work on our live projects)

4. Winter Training

 

Basic Modules:

1. Microarray Data Analysis

2. Computer Aided Drug Designing and Ligand Simulation

3. Molecular Modelling with advance approaches

4. Phylogenetic Analysis

5. Metabolic Pathway Reconstruction

6. Proteomics and Genomics

7. Software Development with Perl and Bioperl

8. Database Development with PHP and MySQL

9. Database Development with Asp .net

 

Highlights of the Project:

 

  1. Project trainee will be given complete training on all the software’s relevant to the project work.
  2. All the projects are research based having scope of publication and presentation in various national and international journals, seminars and conferences based on your findings of the project.
  3. Projects will be offered on the basis of past knowledge and interest of students in a specific research area in bioinformatics.
  4. Every Enrolled student in BCS-InSilico Biology can participate in our Annual National Conference without any fees as a volunteer. (It will be going to held in February of 2012).

 

Registration Charge for Bioinformatics Training

Registration fee :         Rs. 1,000/- only.

Candidates have to make DD of Rs. 1,000/- in the favour of “Biopreen Etech Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd.” payable at Lucknow.
