Hi Everyone,

Hi have an option that may be interesting for some of you for your summer Music Tech Project.

I met Iman & Govinda at the recent start-up showcase @ the GA Tech Hotel on 4-22-13. We started a conversation that led to discussion on music technology, more specifically Algorithmic Music Composition.

I'm working on a music tech app that they found interesting and thought that it might be interesting as a summer project.

The project in general is to produce a ( Pop ) music generating app that uses randomized output for melodies and chords, and limits the output with parameters that fit a defined criteria thus making it fit a certain genre of music.

Although there are many innovative minds that constantly crate new and exciting products, the foundations for these AI algorithms were developed by pioneers such as David Cope. Those principles are what we will be exploring and developing on.
