Dear Frank and Gil,

First of all, I would thank Frank for lending us the equipments from room 105 for our rehearsals for the Zeppelin Medley piece of Listening Machine, and also thank Gil for his helpful guidance today on the future directions of our works.

However, I have one concern on the equipments we are using right now.

The attached is a list of equipments that we checked out from room 105, and the Zeppelin team has put their names and contact info on it. The sheet is now kept by Frank. Right now, there is a need among several other groups to share some of these equipments with us. The "Drone" team used our set up last and this Tuesday to rehearse with the band, and the "purple haze" team uses our mic when they are working.

We are very happy to share these equipments with them because we know that they are also working for the class projects just the same as we are, and they should be able to use the department's equipments to finish their course projects. But we are also concerned about the fact that these equipments are checked out under our own names, that we cannot be fully responsible on them if we lend some of these equipments to them.

Therefore, I'd suggest that we transfer these equipments under Gil's name, and we take that sheet back from Frank, so other teams who need these equipments for Technical Ensemble class can also use these equipments and we the Zeppelin team don't have to worry about the responsibilities that we cannot take.

Let me know if this is applicable and/or any opinions you think to be workable.

Thanks!

Weibin

Hello Frank, Gil and Leslie,

Thank you all very much for the solution. The students of Technical Ensemble class should be able to use these equipments for their projects now. The equipments are currently stored at room 100, near Hailey. Some of us have the access to that room.

Frank, will it be applicable that I go to your office tomorrow and take our check out sheet back? When will it work best for you?

Thanks!

Weibin

Thanks Frank,

An Excel spread sheet managed by Leslie would be a great idea.

Thanks again for helping with this.

Gil

First, thank you for being so responsible and concerned about the equipment. It is deeply appreciated. Second, if it would make things easier, I can prepare an Excel spread sheet so the gear can be assigned and tracked by either Gil or Leslie.

Let's wait to see what Gil suggests.

Frank
