HW3 Errata

Hi all,

All PhDs make mistakes. So does our instructor. I found a few mistakes in the homework questions and have confirmed with Sylvain. Make sure you recognize them before you spend hours on them. 

Part1
4. the definition of u[n] should be 0 for n<0 and 1 for n>=0.
(a) don't "male" a plot; make a plot.

Part2
1. (d) the formula you should prove right should be g[n]delta[n-n0] = g[n0]delta[n-n0].

Spoilers:
1.This HW really has a lot of questions. Start early.
2. Don't get tricked by Part1 2(c) and Part2 6(b).

Could someone forward it to students not in the list? Thanks.

Another typo:

Part 1 2(c) The frequency is incorrect. It should be 0.2*pi rather than 2*pi.

x[n] = 2*e^j(0.2*pi*n-pi/4)
