M.Tech Mfg - Masters Thesis First Review Schedule

The exact time schedule for the presentation is enclosed herewith this mail. Each student will be given 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minute for discussions.
I would like to remind you the important points to be followed during the first review :
- All the students are required to strictly follow the VIT thesis guidelines while submitting the review report.
- It is suggested to submit the draft copy of the review report and presentation ppt to the internal guide(s) atleast one week before the date of the review, It is also advised that the students doing project work in industries and other research organization should meet and discuss the progress of the project with their internal guide also.
- You will be allowed to give your presentation only in the presence of your internal guide. (kindly inform your internal guide regarding the date and time of your review)
It is hereby informed that the student should submit a hardcopy (2 copies) of the report before your presentation (with internal guide(s) signature). The panel members will go through the report and provide their suggestions during the review. If the report is not submitted before the deadline, the students will not be allowed to appear for the review under any circumstances.
The following points should be included in the first review report and in the presentation:
- The motivation of the project and the problem statement.
- Detailed literature survey related to the project. (with a minimum of 25 Journal papers)
- Proposed methodology.
- GANTT Chart
- Expected outcome of the project.
