Dear Sir/Madam,

It is our pleasure to inform you that V.T. Patel Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, C.S. Patel Institute of Technology is organizing one week STTP on

“IoT & Advances in Embedded Systems” from 06th June, 2016 - 11th June, 2016. 

The goal of this STTP is to enhance the skill of the participants in the future technology of IoT & Advanced Embedded Systems along with software & hardware realization on special Embedded SoC Board. i.e. Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnection of uniquely identifiable embedded computing devices within the existing Internet infrastructure. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software which is used for implementing IoT application. Embedded Linux is extremely high requirement for industry in today’s era. The Raspberry Pi board will be a platform for the students to grab knowledge in the field of Embedded Linux. The Raspberry Pi is a very low cost and small single-board computer with all requires peripherals. The workshop not only focuses on the raspberry pi board, but also includes all peripheral programming with the raspberry pi. This would provide an extensive opportunity to the participants for getting knowledge of Python Language and its real time application on raspberry pi board. Under this perspective, aim of this workshop is to discuss in depth engineering applications utilizing Arduino & Raspberry Pi Board and cater to the needs of students, faculty members and practicing engineers
