Job mela at AU on March 7, 8

Andhra University, in association with the Millennium Software, is conducting a job mela at the Dr. Y.V.S. Murthy auditorium on the AU Engineering College campus on March 7 and 8.
Students of B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Sc. (computer science), M.B.A. and M.C.A. who are in their final year now and those who passed out in 2013 and 2014 are eligible to appear for the job mela, Vice-Chancellor G.S.N. Raju said at a press conference on Tuesday. About eight companies have so far confirmed their participation and the number is expected to reach 20 at the time of the mela. The pay the companies would offer was between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 18,000 and eligible would get a higher pay, he said. Among the companies, Miracle Software would need about 500 new recruits. Some companies that confirmed their participation were Yelamanchili Software, IAC Technologies, eCentric and Phoenix IT Solutions.
Details of the job mela would be uploaded on the AU website in a few days. Registrar of Andhra University V. Umamaheswara Rao, CEO of Millennium Software Sridhar Reddy and Placement Officer of AUCE Sasi were also present.
