Dear all, Chers amis surfeurs en Chine,

On sunday 25 april we're setting up a beach-cleanup all over China (yes !).


Surfers are familiar of it and there has been some already in Hong Kong,
but i'm afraid this never happened in "real" China, and surely never on the
initiative of surfers in 4 cities at the same time.
This will be a great first and...maybe...you would like to join or create
your own ?

Too bad Qingdao will not be with us (this year at least).

Send also your photos, reports and weight of total trash at the same adress
afterwards.

In theory, one single individual picking up trash on a beach would be a
stronger symbol than a crowd. Stronger symbol but much less fun...
This is why, if you accept the mission, you'd have to spread the word and
gather the volunteers at the beach of your choice.
The volunteers will work two by two. The required equipment is 01 roll of
bin bags for two, 01 pair of working gloves per person and hard shoes.

Meeting time is 11am for a pick up until 1pm.
Then lunch together (chat about "sustainable behavior at the beach :
nature-community-technology").
Then from 2pm until... family sandcastles, beach volley or whatever you
think amusing, appropriate and positive.

Chers amis, dear friends, dear surfers in China,

China last weekend.
If you don't know yet, well, it was the day of the China-wide beach
cleanup. The first of its kind, on the whole coastline, the same day.

As you will read online, there were a few surprises... but nothing so bad
that we won't do it again. And again.
And again.

talking with the Surfrider Foundation about it.]
