Subject: 5th Annual Green Spaces for DC Meet+Greet

Meet and Greet 2019 — Green Spaces For DC

When: July 18 at 5:30-7:30pm

Special guest: Melanie Choukas-Bradley, author of The Joy of Forest Bathing, City of Trees and A Year in Rock Creek Park

Location: Earth Conservation Corps Pumphouse
Monique Johnson Anacostia River Center (The Pumphouse) in SE D.C.
1520 First St. SE, Washington, DC 20003

Located directly on the Anacostia River, this location is rustic in appeal - but has a view unlike any other in Washington, DC. This building was originally a pumphouse for the Capital Building.

Directions: We encourage everyone to use transit. Get off at the Navy Yard Metro Station on the Green Line. You will have a 5-minute walk to the facility on the Anacostia River. There is no parking with the exception of on-street parking and private lots for the Nationals stadium nearby.
