Disappointing news

This is a depressing e-mail to write (and I despise having to wallow in
such things). I can't make it up there this year. My family was out of
work for two months and we had to borrow money to survive July. I kept
hoping something would come up to allow me to go. Something came up all
right; I'm now employed from August to February, good paycheck,
work-from-home, but the first paycheck is September.

So, we're borrowing some money again this month (we're not credit card
people, so I'm talking family and friends :( ) and there's nothing left
to get me up there. I'm sorry for that. Anything I do get, I'll send
up as support. Rob should still be going up there so I'll probably send
stuff with him as well.

Best to all of you and may it be a great event. It's been wonderful to
me for two years and I plan on getting back there with the full family
next year.
