Hi all,
One last email from us: we are pleased to announce that
"Finding Representative Objects with Sparse Modeling"
Junier Oliva, Dougal Sutherland, Yifei Ma
has won the Instructors' Choice Award from the poster session, and that
"Fast Point Cloud Registration Using Gaussian Processes"
Ben Eckart, Seth Flaxman, Antonio Juarez
has won the People's Choice Award from the poster session.
Congratulations to both teams, and also to the stiff competition that they faced!
There is (sadly) no cash prize associated with either award, but we will have some nice certificates prepared to commemorate the awards. We'll send more info shortly to the winners about how to pick up their certificates.
