Hi,

Since we've been talking a little bit about error correcting codes in
class, I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for introductory
texts on signal processing and information theory. I've read a little
bit of MacKay 2003, "Information Theory, Inference, and Learning
Algorithms" (http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/mackay/itila/book.html)
which is great, but I suspect people who seriously know the field
might have different recommendations.

Thanks,
Brendan
