Target East Harlem Community Garden: Filming

Hello all,

 

This is Angela. As I'm sure Ashley has told many of you, this Wednesday, October 1st at 6:00 PM we will celebrate the opening of Target East Harlem Community Garden. Expect music, treats, and a special appearance from Bette Midler! The garden is located on East 117th Street between Pleasant and First Ave. Hopefully I'll see lots of you there.

 

Also, on Thursday, October 2nd, The television show 'Cultivating Life' will be filming in the garden. They'd love to get some shots of people using the garden--especially kids playing in the space. So, I'd like to invite all of you to bring your kids for fun in Target East Harlem CG on Thursday around 3:00 PM. I'll provide some refreshments. One logistical piece: all participating children must have a release form signed by a parent or guardian; parents and gaurdians, I'll need you present to sign the form. If you would like to attend, please email me to RSVP at ami...@nyrp.org. I'll let all who RSVP know the exact meeting time as soon as Cultivating Life lets me know.
