Dear all:

I think all of LC have the facebook account, but do you manage it on the right way?
==============================================================================
Facebook  is a rapidly growing social networking platform connecting over 175 million active users, helping people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and coworkers.

For AIESEC, Facebook os a gathering space for members to share their links, stories, interests, and positioning our organization to external audiences.

Check AIESEC's approach at Facebook, global spaces, rules, good case practices and education at Facebook Wiki.

1) Always use a Facebook page instead of a Group

Facebook pages are designed for brands, artists, products, and public figures. Facebook pages are much more professional and function like a normal Facebook profile. On a basic level, a Facebook Page is advantageous over a Facebook group because it can post Status updates to your Fans newsfeeds and communicate in real time to your Fans. Facebook pages also allow you to have Notes, from which you can import your blog into automatically and other applications that can be useful to interact with your audience such as photo sharing or surveys.

2) Update Your Page On A Consistent Schedule

When you are posting status updates and other content to your page, you should do it on a consistent schedule. For example, if you only have time to update your page once a week – you should update it say every Monday afternoon after your weekly team meeting and stick to that schedule. Consistent updates are much more effective than updating on an ad-hoc basis. Most fan pages are dead and have no interaction with followers because they rarely update, or update on an irregular schedule.

3) Use Dynamic And Free Content To Populate Your Page

The best Facebook Fan pages share relevant and dynamic content with their audience on a regular basis. The Internet is full of relevant and dynamic content that is free for you to use – you just need to locate. The easiest way to determine what to share with your audience is to understand what you are interested in. Look at how many Likes and Comments you get on content you share, and keep sharing content that gets higher activity.
