Over the last sixty- four years since our 10th Mountain soldiers
fought and died in Italy, the 10th Mountain veterans have repeatedly
organized return trips to their battlefields and towns in the
mountains of Italy. This time, the 2009 Return to Italy will be
planned and run by 10th Mountain Division Descendants, Inc.

For many descendants, this trip will be an opportunity to travel to
Italy with their 10th Mountain soldier to learn of the events that
took place so many years ago that shaped his life.

For many other descendants who have bid farewell to their 10th
Mountain soldier, this trip may enable them to walk in the path of
their 10th Mountain soldier and learn something about him.
