Hello,

I found a confusing part in the assignment. In question 2.2, about the distribution of w. It says 'w~N(0, lambda ^ 2*1)'; is it w~N(0, lambda ^ 2) or just w~N(0, 1)?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Han,

The 1 is a d-vector of ones and not a scalar, indicating that each of the d components of w is ~N(0, \lambda^2).
