Just wondering how rigorous we need to be when proving that the functions in 1.2.1 are CDFs. Are you expecting delta-epsilon proofs to show that they're right continuous, or "looser" arguments like "since arctan is continuous we know..."

Thanks!

You may use the continuity properties of functions like arctan. I don't expect epsilon-delta proofs.

Thanks.
