Job Summary
Working with disparate development teams both internal and vendors/partners to maintain existing and create new tools and modules for the Drupal CMS/content API, providing content to external web/IOS/Android/OTT applications.
Assist with the Drupal development of the Connected Health platform
- Maintenance of existing and development of new custom features with adherence to Drupal coding
Essential Job Functions
• Maintenance of existing and development of new custom features with adherence to Drupal coding and Comcast Engineering standards and best practices.
• Contribution to Drupal core and contributed modules as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education/Experience
• Proven 2+ years’ professional experience in a Drupal engineering role
• Solid Experience with Drupal 8 / OOP / Symfony
• Strong Javascript skills
• Experience with common Drupal deployment methodologies (dev->stage->live)
• Self-starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
Specific or Additional Skills
• Basic working knowledge of LAMP server configuration
• Experience with Drupal 8 migration tools a plus
• Familiarity with React.js and mobile platforms a plus
• Experience with Acquia Site Factory a plus
• Experience with Acquia Content Hub/Lift a plus
Specialized Knowledge or Licenses
• Drupal, LAMP, OOP / PHP, Symfony
• Drupal theming knowledge with Twig, HTML5, CSS3, SASS a plusC
