0xdroid on devkit8000 without serial

Hello,

I want to follow the instructions at http://code.google.com/p/0xdroid/wiki/UsingPreBuiltImages but my Devkit8000's serial interface stopped working some time ago.  Is there a way to make uBoot automatically run the commands that the directions say to run at the uBoot prompt?
