Alright, i found out via twitter that the thing will start at 2pm. I'm going to be at music and tech thing in SW1 till about that time on Sunday, but I'll head that way after.
I think they mean well, but I share many of the other mentioned concerns.

Pretty cynical effort really. They're well aware we exist probably

to lead people to believe that there aren't already clubs in London.
Hardly the sort of thing that makes me think of them as good citizens
of the craft beer movement.
Aside from that though, is there a need, or a desire, for another London club?

Contrary to what's implied in their write up, the twitter response was not

I can probably swing by as I'm curious to see how it goes (though I have
other things on Sunday so it depends on what time things are meant to
happen, or is it just all day Sunday?) , and am considering pushing some
beer to their comp. The write up seems to describe it without any tasting
of homebrew though and really, without the tastings it loses something
rather significant...

I will pop along, think I am fairly free that day.
Will be interesting to see the kind of crowd it attracts. The competition
prizes look pretty attractive for the winners.
It looks like this club is being incubated by the pub itself?

I can pop along. Shall I ask on twitter how they plan to be different? :)

Maybe they're feeling lost and lonely because we didn't come back...
How long until the new club works out that they can't hear themselves
think with the dreadful acoustics upstairs?
Anyone proposing to go along on Sunday, and report back?

I'm sure London already has a home brew club.
