• 3+ years of experience in test automation and coding, with strong proficiency in Java
• Hands-on experience executing automated test cases within established test automation frameworks
• Extensive knowledge of:
• Selenium
• Appium
• Cucumber (BDD framework)
• Experience in mobile testing across iOS and Android devices, including mobile automation
• Strong understanding of:
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Agile methodologies
• Quality Assurance principles
• Experience with API test automation tools:
• Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman
• Experience with functional automation tools:
• Selenium, Java, Cucumber, JUnit
• Knowledge of databases:
• Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools:
• Jira, HP ALM / QC
• Experience in Java and JavaScript
• Data conditioning knowledge is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in TSYS consumer banking / credit card domain or similar industry

Role Overview

We are seeking a User Acceptance Testing Lead to support the development of next-generation digital ecosystem capabilities. This role involves working across multiple projects, contributing to product development, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts using:
• Selenium + Cucumber (BDD)
• Appium (Mobile automation)
• API automation tools (Smart Spec or similar)
• Create and manage test data for applications under test
• Develop and execute:
• Test plans
• Test cases/scripts
• Defect documentation and tracking
• Participate in defect triage meetings
• Ensure test environment readiness for upcoming cycles
• Support and enhance automation frameworks
• Identify testing dependencies and create short-term and long-term automation strategies
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to refine requirements
• Review business requirements and define:
• Test strategies
• Test plans
• Test scenarios/use cases
• Continuously re-evaluate testing strategies based on risks and priorities
• Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing for features and user experience
• Coordinate with automation teams to maintain evergreen test suites
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to user story validation
