Welcome to the discussion group on 'local communities in action: lifelong learning for sustainable development'. 
This group is managed by the City of Okayama and the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning. 
We are co-organising a workshop on the same topic in the World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development (Nagoya, 10-12 November 2014). 

We would like to engage with the participants of the workshop as well as with people who cannot join the workshop in person.
