Geospatial Mobile Data Format for Tiles

The purpose of this group is to foster discussion, design, and implementation for a Open Standard for storing geospatial tiled raster data with a primary focus on Handhelds and Tablets.  The end goal of this group is to develop a proposal specification with at least two supporting implementations.  The specification will be royalty-free and open for anyone to read and implement against.  If you have a use case or desired functionality post it here.
