|JUser bind when a new user ... well and old||fanno||12/7/12 11:25 AM|
i think there is an issue here
when creating a new user, both:
$username = $this->get('username');
$password = $this->get('password');
will always return ''
this means the checks
if (strlen($username) > 150)
$username = substr($username, 0, 150);
if (strlen($password) > 100)
$password = substr($password, 0, 100);
are never in effect ...
because the values are only in $array eg $array['username'] or $array['password']
should the checks in question not be moved down below setProperties ??
so that the check is preformed on BOTH NEW and EXISTING users ???? I mean why not have a check when it is not all the way ?
Maybe i am missing something .. ?
