Hi Honza, I have tried updating to firebug-1-12-alpha-3 but I receive following notification "Firebox could not process file". How do I get the new Firebug update to work in Firefox 18.0.2? The Firebug icon as gone missing in my browser window after I tried updating to latest version. Thanks.

Sounds like a Firefox problem. Please update your Firefox version to 19.0 and try it again. If it still doesn't work, first uninstall Firebug and then reinstall it.

Alana, did you find a solution to the problem?

Yes I updated to Firefox 19.0 as Sebastian suggested. And the latest version of Firebug was successfully installed as a result. Thanks Sebastian and Honza for your assistance with this issue.

Hi,

Firebug 1.12a3 solved my problem with memory leaks that I had with 1.11.2.

Before:
With 1.11.2, the memory usage grew (OK), but when I closed my tabs, firebug don't freed my memory (NOK): Firefox 19.0.2 Windows 7 (64)

After:
With 1.12.a3, the memory usage grew (OK), and when I closed my tabs firebug freed my memory (OK): Firefox 19.0.2 Windows 7 (64)

I don't know if this improvement comes after 1.11.2 and before 1.12.a3, anyway is a good job.
