Michael Alan Rosenaur
October 4, 1977 - August 30, 2008

Michael Alan Rosenaur's dreams began at a young age and ended at 30.
He transformed from a young man into an adult in the last few years.

The Greeks say that you judge a man by one thing, if he had PASSION.

Michael had passion about so many things in his life. First and
foremost was always his love of his family. Everyone in his family
said that Michael's heart was bigger than he was. His love of sports
included Boxing, Football, the Lakers, the Dodgers, and the University
of Colorado college sports. He began a love affair with cars and car
shows from his beloved Uncle Sam Bergman and his step-father, Richard
Shaw.

He was so happy that he got to drive the car of his dreams. He was an
entrepreneur who ventured into capitalizing on new ideas.

Michael moved effortlessly between many fields at one time. He was a
trainer for boxers.

As a child he loved watching the boxing matches and he loved his
dreams by being in the ring with them. He began a design vest company.
It was successfully being worn by many in the music industry and
celebrities.

At the same time, he began to write music lyrics. He was so proud as
he successfully produced, directed, and wrote the music for the song,
"Admit It". that was sung by Tray Star. The words even speak to us
now, "sent from heaven above".

Michael was always proud that he was the grandson of famed animator,
Frtiz Freleng, the creator of the Pink Panther, Bugs Bunny, and
countless others.

He always felt blessed to be surrounded by the love of his family. His
mom, Hope, was his best friend and supporter. Michael was devoted and
loving to his Mother always. He never left the house without saying "I
love you, Mom".

He loved his two sisters, Lara and Chanel. He was thankful when Lara
married, Kyle, and he finally had another guy in the family. His
father, Leonard, taught him how to be a great businessman. His father
instilled in him the quality to never give up even if the odds are
against you.

He appreciated the love and caring extended to him by his
step-parents, Richard Shaw, and Martine Rosenaur. Richard felt honored
to be a second father to Michael as he helped to raise him for 20
years. He wishes Michael peace and Richard knows that Michael realizes
how much he was loved by everyone.

He always felt that Jay and Lance Bergman, were more like his brothers
than his cousins. His Aunt Sybil Bergman was always there to support
him along his journey of life. He considered Dora to be a second
mother to him too.

His dog Rex, was one of the many loves of his life.

Michael grew up in Encino, California, as a child and later moved to
Calabasas, California. he attended Landmark and University of Arizona.
He went to the Culinary Institute of Los Angeles and Pasadena. He
joined the culinary industry working at the Grey Whale and Sona.

Michael will always be remembered in our hearts. His life was cut
short but he was the best friend to anyone who needed a friend. His
legacy and passion will endure.

His funeral will be held at the Hillside Memorial Park Mortuary, 6001
Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045 on Thursday, September 4, 2008
at 2 PM.

Lamborghini driver who died in Woodland Hills crash identified

Michael Rosenaur of Calabasas died from burns after the car veered off
the 101 Freeway and burst into flames.

By Victoria Kim
Los Angeles Times Staff Writer

September 3, 2008

Authorities today identified a 30-year-old man who died last weekend
when his Lamborghini veered off the 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills,
crashed into a parking structure and burst into flames.

Michael Rosenaur of Calabasas died from burns caused by the fire, said
Los Angeles County coroner's investigator Jerry McKibben. A toxicology
test that will show whether he was under the influence is pending, he
said.

In an e-mail to The Times, a friend said Rosenaur was a boxing trainer
who had just purchased a new lime green Lamborghini last week.

Witnesses had reported that the car was speeding west on the 101 past
Topanga Canyon Boulevard just before the accident occurred about 2:30
a.m. Saturday.

Lamborghinis can cost well into six figures and are considered among
the world's premier high-performance cars.

Whoa, that is just POOR, POOR reporting. Name wrong(Friz, not Fritz).
creator of bugs info wrong.  Ech!

From the www.animationusa.com/wbmore2.html  site

Isadore "Friz" Freleng began his career in animation for Walt Disney
in the 1920's and joined Warner Bros. in 1930, receiving screen credit
on their very first cartoon 'Sinkin' In The Bathtub'. Though he
specialized in musical cartoons like 'The Three Little Bops' and
'Rhapsody In Rivets', Friz created characters like Porky Pig and
Yosemite Sam, and was instrumental in developing the personalities of
Daffy Duck, Speedy Gonzalez, and Tweety & Sylvester. Freleng's
cartoons have won a total of four Academy AwardsŽ, including Bugs
Bunny's Oscar-winner, 'Knighty Knight Bugs'.

Thanks for the correction. Considering the date of death and the date
of the obit, it looks to me like it was written by someone other than
a family member who was working from notes dictated by a distraught
family member or members and was unfamiliar with the background. I
certainly wasn't when I cut a pasted, but I'm not a comic
book/animation aficionado.

So, this "boxing trainer" just 30, who bought his six figure sports car last
week,  was speeding west at 2:30 in the AM.   Since the bars close in
California at 2 AM, let me guess the cause of this accident.

Betcha I'm right.

I had no idea 'boxing traners' were so well paid.

Sorry to burst ur bubble, but ur wrong.  I grew up with the kid, and
he rarley ever drank & never used drugs.  Michael didn't have a bad
bone in his body & he will be gretaly missed by those close to him.
Yes he was speeding, and obv. was not ready to handle a lambo., but
did not deserve this (who does?).  And boxing was 1 of his main
passions in life, not a dependent source of income & survival.  It's
too easy to make assumptions, however, you know what they say about
assumptions and opinions, right?!

Hey ... this is alt.obituaries. The place thrives on assumptions,
opinions ... and cynicism.

If, in this case, "speeding" means exceeding the posted speed limit,
his transformation into adulthood was incomplete.

I'm not knockin' the guy, but, driving a fast car recklessly on public
roadways is not a sign of adulthood.

Friz Freleng.

My guess is they were going for the most common error (Fritz) but
committed a typo in the process.

I see Juke got there before I did.  Sorry for the redundancy.

Hey, that's nominations only, for the nonce, and getting nommed is no
guarantee of winning anything. Five days more until the end of balloting
for August 2008.
