telling a markdown link to not be rewritten Chris Winters 4/20/12 11:18 AM
I have a separate document in markdown with a list of links, like this:

* [General JavaScript notes](js_general.html)
* [Client-side Templating](client_side_templating.html) also see
  <a href="file://doc-files/20120413_client_side_templating.pdf">notes from code review</a>

The links to the other markdown docs get rewritten, but so does the link to a PDF. I've tried using the following in both Markdown links and an HTML link:

- A bare path reference
- A 'file://' reference (after seeing in base_helper#linkify that both '://' and 'mailto:' links get used as-is)

But the above always looks like this:

<li><a href="file.js_general.html" title="General JavaScript Notes">General JavaScript Notes</a></li>
<li><a href="file.client_side_templating.html" title="Client-side Templating">Client-side Templating</a>
also see <a href="file.20120413_client_side_templating.html" title="notes from code review">notes from code review</a></li>

What am I missing?
