Paul Steiger is an honor to Judaism and to some of the important Aseret Hadiberot.*

Inter alia, he was Managing Editor of the Wall Street Journal (which --mirabile dictu -- still writes correct English, and which at least TRIES to keep its antediluvian editorial page separate from its news coverage.  Its weekend Review Section covers the arts and literature via leisurely, eminently readable stories.)

Now Steiger is giving back via ProPublica, perhaps the most successful investigative entity in American journalism.
