Photoshop & Illustrator: Project Deconstruction - MONDAY Nov 14

PRESENTATION on a real-world project for an interactive pictorial map -- by Nancy Wirsig McClure, designer and trainer. See "beneath the hood" to uses of Photoshop and Illustrator and the thought process of designing for low resolution and interactivity. The project uses scanned maps, Live Trace, Place commands, Smart Objects, pictorial elements from clip art & drawing, layers, and more.

LOCATION. 
Join us at PSU Professional Development Center.
Market Square Building, 1515 SW 5th Ave, downtown Portland, 10th floor. Tell building guard you are there for a meeting at PSU. TRANSIT: Directly on the Max Green Line.  PARKING: Park in building's garage for  $4 or $5 -- enter from Market Street (one-way toward river, just after crossing 6th Ave). Or try street parking (meters enforced until 7 pm at $1.60/hour).

7:45 Introductions (brief round-robin), break and networking
8:45 Drawing for Adobe Creative Suite. (see below).
