The GymTrack team is looking for a Mobile Developer with experience in Ruby on Rails. Here are the details: ---- Snip ---- Gymtrack is an Ottawa tech startup that's developing a system for gyms to allow their members to automatically track their workouts, while creating a platform that allows gyms to sell virtual personal training. Gymtrack is a 500 Startups company (http://techcrunch.com/2014/08/06/500-startups-accelerator-announces-its-tenth-batch-of-companies/) and has been named one of the hottest 20 startups in Canada by Techvibes (http://www.techvibes.com/blog/techvibes-20-2014-08-26). We're growing extremely fast and are looking for a mobile developer to join us on the ground floor. You will be working closely with our other developers and designers. Requirements: - Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering - Experience with Android or iOS development - Experience building easy to use and well-designed UIs - Comfortable working with the phones' sensors(Location, Bluetooth, Camera, etc...) - You're passionate about what you do and love to learn new things Extras/ nice-to-haves: - Experience with Ruby on Rails - If you like working on front-end web (HTML/CSS ) / have some design skills you can bring to the table that'd be great - If you've worked on your own side project (app, website, etc.) before that's a huge bonus - Experience with C# and/or Xamarin Interested?
