discovering the url of the page where an apphook is attached Manolis Stamatogiannakis 9/22/12 12:54 PM
Hello,

I have an application which is only used through its apphook and it doesn to have a "root" view.

I.e.  urls.py does not have any url(r'^/$', ...) pattern:

urlpatterns = patterns('',
    url(r'^join/$', views.ApplicationForm, name='join'),
    url(r'^members/$', views.Members, name='members'),
    ...
)

Is it possible to retrieve the url of the page where the apphook is attached?

Thanks!
Manolis

Can you give the page that has the apphook a reverse_id (in the advanced settings)?

Then you can do this in the template:

<a href="{% page_url "help" %}">Help page</a>

Cheers,
Martin
