local importance, please join our local google group at:
The Columbus Mini Maker Faire is coming up fast. Several of
us have submitted applications, and this is the last monthly
meetup before the day of. This meeting will be a good
opportunity to coordinate our efforts. I will be looking into
some sponsorship for printing plastic for the Faire. Please
let me know if your preferred filament is *not* 3mm ABS.
This month, we also have a special treat: Bill Steele will be
bringing his prototype Ultra-Bot. It's a retooled CupCake,
with a much larger build platform and other enhancements.
It's also the feature of a Kickstarter campaign with several
weeks to go. This Wednesday is your chance to see it
The monthly meetings are free and open to all with an interest
in the technology regardless of prior experience. Bring your
enthusiasm down to the Columbus Idea Foundry, and if you
know someone who wants to learn more, bring them along, too.
