Yes, i did. I also uninstalled and reinstalled, but still the same thing happened.

Did you run a dual boot before, with your current OS?

Same thing happens to me and I've got an Acer too (lower specs though). The point is I've seen another guy in XDA having the same problem with another Acer, it's maybe a problem with Acer?

Press f8 when you turn on your computer

It has no effect whatsoever, still directly opens windows 10.

Have you tried pressing f8 directly after the logo of your PC disappeared?

I spammed the f8 button from beginning to the login screen of windows 10, it wouldn't budge.

Plus, my computer logo screen and windows 10 opening screen seems to be the same, acer logo directly takes me to windows after a brief black space.

I'm not sure about this 'cause I don't have an acer computer. But I heard the button to be pressed while starting up is F2 to bring the BIOS menu and from there you have to actually enable the F12 boot device menu option. Make sure Bitlocker and Secure Boot are disabled

I'm sure that Secure Boot is disabled, and I don't think Bitlocker is a feature in my version of Windows 10 (Home), and I could not find any settings for it in settings. Is there an encryption service that comes default with Acer laptopts?

I'm having the same problem with my Acer...

Hold down the left Shift while clicking on restart from within Windows. this will bring you to the Windows boot options.

tried that, can't find Remix anywhere... It also doesn't show up after pressing F12 while booting.

Maybe your CPU is 64bit, but your UEFI is 32bit.
Try adding bootia32.efi from 32bit version of RemixOS to your system boot partition using cmd 

How can I do that can you help me I have the gpt disk that will be a problem?

download 32bit version from Jide's website
open it with 7z and extract bootia32.efi from EFI/boot/
then open cmd
use commands written above one by one
in the last one change D:\downloads\bootia32.efi with your path to bootia32.efi
reboot to UEFI setup
if u have an option to add EFI file as trusted to executing, select it
find bootia32.efi in /EFI/RemixOS/
profit

I had the issue where I wasn't able to find Remix anywhere in the UEFI boot menu after the installation of RemixOS. My laptop is an Acer Aspire V3-572PG. The solution was a combinaison of these previous post. In the BIOS menu, you have to add the EFI boot file as trusted (located in the Security settings, to access this option you must have set an admin password). The file is  /EFI/RemixOS/bootx64.efi (or bootx32 for 32 bits firmware). Then Remix OS will appear in the EFI boot menu. The second action is to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS menu. It worked for me.

Also Fast Boot feature in windows might be blocking booting other os.

i dont think this is an issue with acer. actually this is the problem with windows 10. i have the same issue with win10, ubuntu

Have not tried any of the solutions here but I did get RemixOS to boot on my HP 250 G3 by pressing F9 (boot options key) then selecting to manually select an efi file to boot from.

Install Dual Boot Remix Os with Windows 10 

Go to boot device option then efi the efi folder then remix os the any of the bootloader

can you tell me more about how to do this ?
