Yep, In fact he wrote a book on it, which in Magick bookstores seems to get
placed somewhere in the Egyptian magick section, and before the Enochian Magick
section.
Meanwhile, to whoever mentioned it, I did check, and sure enough, Al Gore did
write an article for Magical Blend. Haven't seen the issue or title of the
article yet, but I assume it's one on environmentalism. Pretty bizarre magazine
to write for, in any case. Makes in interesting tidbit to go with Al Gore's
book being found in the Unabomber's cabin. --If anyone happens to have a copy
of this article online, I would like to have it.
With Bateson's work on the double bind theory, and Mead scurrying around
advocating parapsychology while Jean Houston is researching LSD-ESP and other
three letter intials that go bump in the night, it starts to get bizarre.
By the way: I have a common, popular list around here, which although I don't
agree with it's assements, offers a list of "how you know if an organization
is using mind control". -- Since it was written by Margaret Singer, and used
by CAN, it's not likely to be accurate, however, it does mention that "Sacred
Science" is one such item that qualifies.
The Search for the Beloved: Journeys in Sacred Psychology -
Jean Houston 1987 / Jeremy P. Tarcher, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA)
By this criteria, it would hardly be libel to shout "Mind Control!" at this
point :)

PS: On the other hand, looking into voodoo with research on this topic doesn't
make anything about this seem very funny :(
