Nice, we are 16 members now and it's time to plan the next steps.
Stefan and Jerome shared a lot of hands on experience about organizing user groups. Big thanks to Stefan and Jerome. This is an invaluable gain of help, we should all really appreciate that and make the best of it. Let's kick off this user group ;)
The central questions that arose from Stefans posts is: Which platform delivers the best tools for managing RL events online? I had a brief look at meetup.com and liked it so far. The cost should not be a problem, I planned to talk to some sponsors in the next week, which is always a good thing to do. I didn't find the time to check the other tools. Please check Stefans post and reply if you have something to say about the mentioned tools and don't be shy to recommend any other tools.
The second most important topic is: What's the primary language for Go User Group Berlin? We had a poll and the results are clear: English is the winner. The results are in the survey thread.
One more thing™: Would it be realistic to have sort of a spontaneous meet up in the next two weeks (at c-base if possible)? I really like to meet in meat space just for the convenience of communication synchronous about the next steps, distributing responsibilities and for the sake of the caffein that is in every single Club Mate. And again I'm hopeful that I'm not the only one ;)
