Hi, i'm current using Code128 to generate barcode, but now, i have a requirement to generate barcode using the chinese text, is this even possible? Code128 does not allow it, is there any other option or writer that i can use to generate barcodes?

I don't know any 1D barcodes that officially can handle unicode characters.
For that you will either need to come up with your own format or use 2D barcodes like PDF417 or QR.
The text printed below barcodes is just added for humans, most standard don't even tell you how this should be done and any random text can be added.
Maybe consider printing a Chinese description below a barcode that refers to the object by an ID instead of the character string?
