Aren't some people lovely :/

For what it's worth I think it's an amazing project.

What a swell chap.

How did he even find your email? Did the other company he paid for, place your emails in their credits page or something? lol

I was confused, since she would never provide the email that she bought whatever this app was under, nor say what app it was, but from the context clues, it was not my paid app and I can only assume some paid clone or something.

This is not rare, but is among the worst. I think it's fair to "open source" this aspect too.

Appearently someone registered a paid barcode app under your name in the Play store and claiming to be part of the ZXing team.

Maybe pull some internal strings at Google to get that imposter removed....
I didn't check the Apple Appstore...

With 1000+ installs that is somewhere around 700$ in revenue.

Hi Bas,

That is Sean himself, who also distributes a version of the application with more features as a paid for app.
This has been discussed on this list before.
Features from that app trickle down to the open source app.

No that's me indeed. I know the person didn't find my app though since the email wasn't a buyer, but then again, the person wasn't quite clear about what was going on at all.
