I've written a translator to capture newspaper articles from clippings on newspapers.com. This (pay) site lets you create clippings of newspaper page zones and give them titles and descriptions, and when you do they become available for sharing. You can provide a title and description. This translator captures the publication metadata (newspaper, date, page, etc.) and also imports the title and description into the title and abstract fields. The only unusual thing about the translator is that supports a convention to handle authors: you can append authors to the title, separated from it with a forward slash (and from each other with semicolons). They will be cleaned up and imported. This convention isn't part of newspapers.com's system, so users of the translator need to know about it in order to populate their clipping titles appropriately.

Thanks Peter!
The easiest for us would be if you could make this a pull request to the
translator repo in Zotero: https://github.com/zotero/translators That way we can comment line-by-line, we'll see your updates, and it's
much less likely to slip from attention.
