Hello,

Thank you for trying my tool. I did translate and read this article.

What I can add is that setting up and using ZICO collector instead of local trace files will make your solution more convenient to use and possibly more useful as ZICO now has much more options to filter out and search through collected traces.

Hi,

Thank you for taking time to traslate the article, but I still want to know how to open and edit the monitoring data file (trace.trc), is it a binary file or compressed file please?
I want to do some redevelopment and integrate it into our web.

Regards,
Fuliang

Hello,

There is zorka-viewer application still in source code tree, so you can compile it and try viewing those trace files with it. It was useful when there was no dedicated collector, now it possibly still works but it has much poorer functionalities than zico collector.

Thank you :)

There is more to that. You can double click on a HTTP trace, then click 'Expand whole tree' icon (fourth from left on newly opened panel) and you'll see method call tree of selected HTTP call. Methods marked blue or red have small 'expander' icons, so you can see more details (eg. SQL query for SQL calls, exceptions for errors etc.).

Regards,
rle
