I don't know who did it, but when I went to wash up at the southwest watering hole, I discovered someone had put quite a bit of work into it.  It was dug out deeper than I've ever seen it in the past three years, and the dam under the marble slab had been raised and reinforced.

The water's deep, high, and clear.

Fantastic job!

Not sure who to address this to, but there has been an issue with unleashed dogs at the gardens for the past few weekends.  When I've said something about it, the party in question looks at me like I am a mean and nasty grinch that hates animals (I have two dogs and a cat).  This is while their dog is near the stream in the park bothering a family with two kids and their dog ON a leash.

A friend related to me tonight about this same dog snarling at them, then taking a crap near the stream.  No, the owner did not pick it up - very sanitary for the kids that play there. I, too, have dogs.  Would NOT have them unleashed running through the gardens.  If I brought my nice one up (people friendly, but not dog friendly) and another dog approached she (who would be mortified to even consider snapping at a person) would be blamed as she is part pittie.

PLEASE - keep your dogs on leash or keep them home!  Not only is this good to keep the dog pee off the lettuce and greens I will be eating, but it is the law.

Thank you for letting me have my say.  I will look at the garden number of the owner within the next few days.  If the dog is off leash again will give the garden # to Anthony.
